Project created for the multidisciplinary event Divas de la Tecnocumbia, which was curated by María del Carmen Carrión for the Museo de la Ciudad in Quito. I created a series of twelve photographs whose guiding theme was the symbolic universe of Technocumbia, a music genre popular throughout Latin America. The female models in the photos are renowned Technocumbia singers from Ecuador, and the males are city bus drivers. The title of each photograph is taken from the typical slogans written on bus and truck cabins and bumpers.
