(b. Buenos Aires, Argentina, 1973).
Leandro Erlich is an artist that constructs ideas onto an affiliated space. All his objects have an industrial source that permeates the reconstruction of a familiar object. He distorts reality and places objects in a secluded section. He was in the realm of Argentina’s post military dictatorship period of 1976-1983. Leandro integrates the political aspect of Argentina. He began his study in 1991 in Escuela de Bellas Artes Pridiliano Pueyrredón. He moved to the United States in the 1990’s. In 1994 he studied at the Glassell School of Art, Museum of Fine Arts of Houston, USA, with Luis Benedit y Pablo Benedit and Pablo Suarez.

Leandro Erlich applies a relationship of every day icons that are used inside and outside trapped spaces that surround us. He manipulates the objects and reconstructs the function of the object to experience the other side of the object. Such objects include an elevator, toy cars, mirrors, and m
