Writing, reading and drawing are time-based activities which the artist addresses in this work. Dayana Rivera began by writing with lemon juice on a large sheet of paper, thus reworking a game that she used to play as a child. In the course of a private performance she used heat to reveal what would otherwise remain hidden and secret. The second piece she presented in the show is a video. Projected on the wall, a small rectangular shape vibrates and reveals the source of the apparition of a phantasmagorical reality. The piece is a single shot of the bed of candles that the artist used to develop the text written with lemon juice on the paper.
