Artists dreams have been the theme of many artworks throughout the history of art. LaLimpia asked the artists that participated in curarequito to spend one night in the museum, and collected their dreams the following morning. They subsequently recounted the dreams to different artisans, who then interpreted them representing the dream with the instruments of their craft. Each object was presented under the name of the artisan who realized it, thus questioning the role of the artist as creator, as well as the status that an object acquires in a collection. The resulting group of works subverts the setting in which LaLimpia has been invited to participate, and challenges the curator and the public in reading the work.
